to the Guy Forster Information Design web site. This site is all about information, and how to make the right decisions about the best way of communicating it to your intended audience. The discipline of information design combines elements of graphic design with learning design, information analysis and editorial skills to provide materials that communicate complex information in an effective, structured manner.
To this end, I can provide a range of services, which are briefly outlined below. For more detail, go to the services section. If you're a registered charity, or you're interested in producing effective learning materials, then I have some specialist services that may be of interest.
Services
I can provide a full range of services for producing the materials you need, including information design, graphic design, print production, web site design, and copywriting and editorial services.
Charities
My experience in the not-for-profit sector means I can provide a range of specialist services for registered charities, including consultancy and advice on the most effective ways of delivering information, writing, designing and producing annual reports, designing systems for delivering information in print and on the web, with the minimum of duplication of effort, and advising how to make effective use of the latest technologies, such as digital printing. I also offer a discount for registered charities.
Learning materials
With over ten years' experience of developing open learning, distance learning and other flexible learning materials, I can provide a range of services for developing effective learning materials in a variety of media – learning design, navigation design, parallel publishing and multiple media projects.
