Marketing materials

This section contains examples of marketing materials produced in print. In most cases I have written and/or edited the copy as well as being responsible for the graphic design, production and project management.

NEC Calendar 2003

National Extension College 40th Anniversary calendar

This is a CD-case calendar produced to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the founding of the National Extension College.

In this style of calendar, a separate sheet is printed for each month, with the calendar and illustration in colour on the front, and the caption, description and other information on the back. There are also separate cover sheets and back sheets. The printed sheets are collated and inserted into a transparent plastic case the size of CD case; the sheet for the current month can be displayed inside the lid, which be removed and reattached to the base to show the sheet at an angle of about 70°.

Good Training Provider Guide leaflet Good Training Provider Guide leaflet

Leaflet for the Good Training Provider's Guide

This is a two-page A4 flier advertising the Good Training Provider's Guide (see Design for print).

The leaflet was written and produced (in three days) in advance of the publication of the booklets and generated several thousand pounds' worth of advance sales, so I was obviously doing something right.

Initial Assessment CD-ROM leaflet

This is a four-page A4 flier for a multimedia CD-ROM designed to help training providers assess trainees for their existing levels of key skills.

Again this document was written, edited and produced in a very short space of time.

My role in the project:

We are family

We are family

The National Council for One Parent Families review of the year 2000/2001 – I am to say the least extremely proud of the last annual review I produced at One Parent Families.

As well as designing and producing the whole thing, I also devised the original concept, wrote all the copy, did all the picture research and art direction, and project managed it.

My role in the project:

To read a PDF document you need Adobe Reader. If you don't have it you can download it from the Adobe site.
